Deadly Vaccines

Force feeding gets a new - and deadly - meaning

I've written at length about smallpox in Real Health (5/03) and the Daily Dose (11/8/02). It is extremely deadly and you need to prepare yourself for the very real possibility that it could be used in a biowarfare attack. But preparing doesn't mean submitting yourself to a syringe full of the vaccine the government says is the answer. As I explained in the May issue of Real Health, the current vaccine is derived from the animal form of the disease - cowpox.

Here's a newsflash for our keepers in Washington, D.C.: We're not cows - and a vaccine for cowpox often doesn't work for human smallpox. Not only that, it could very well kill a certain percentage of the people who take it. Still, efforts to force the general public to take this vaccine may be right around the corner - even though the government knows about the risk. It's just a risk the feds are willing to take - with your life.

I don't know about you, but I wouldn't want to play Russian roulette with my life for a shot in the arm that's caused death and terrible side effects in some of those brave souls who agreed to take it first…

But here's an aspect to this problem that's even more disturbing: Nowadays, you may not need to submit to a needle-prick to be vaccinated against your will. Get this: New research (government-funded, most likely) is paving the way toward edible vaccines in such wholesome-seeming foods as spinach!

Research is under way right now to determine if this approach is feasible (but no one's studying whether or not it's constitutional). If the "Fools on The Hill" have their way, you may soon be unwittingly EATING vaccines for such diseases as anthrax and hepatitis B. But in the wake of 9/11, such risks are deemed acceptable by those we've elected…
And it seems we won't get a say in the matter.

The hormone hoax you'd have to be demented to try…

You've heard me spouting off against Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) for women before - even well before the government stopped a major HRT study dead in its tracks last year when it discovered that the controversial drug-based therapy increases the risk of ovarian cancer, stroke, and heart disease.

I'm sure you remember. It made the covers of both Time and Newsweek magazine last summer and all the television news shows on CNN and the major networks. At the time, the mainstream's last great hope for HRT was that it protected against Alzheimer's disease.

Well, this latest finding may prove to be the final nail in this killer's coffin. Women (or concerned husbands), here's the scary scoop…

A recent study shows that HRT probably DOUBLES the risk of dementia.

You read that right. A Wake Forest University Medical Center study (an offshoot of the original government study which was halted) revealed that the estrogen/progestin combination marketed by Wyeth Pharmaceuticals as Prempro increases the probability of developing dementia in subject women by 100 percent!

Talk about the cure being worse than the condition!

And consider this: Originally, it was thought that HRT would IMPROVE mental functioning among post-menopausal women - but on tests involving concentration, language, memory, and abstract reasoning, the women taking HRT scored slightly worse than the un-medicated controls.

Take my advice: Steer clear of synthetic drugs for HRT. Instead, see a qualified MD with experience in alternative medicine and talk with him about trying Triple Estrogen and natural progesterone.

Taking my spinach pure and unadulterated,
William Campbell Douglass II, MD
